Mostly Unremarkable

The early dusk. We’re used to it now,
letting the world move on, birds and ants,
people and weather, moving in the dark,
quietly spanning streets and fields and seas,
some running like clockwork, others vital cogs
to the old earth machine. All mostly unremarkable.
